Morton Public Library - Branch Manager
CMRLS has an opening for a Branch Manager to fill a full time position at the Morton Library. Library Branch managers are responsible for all aspects of branch library operations including, but not limited to, physical plant, materials, programming, community contacts, accounting, and monthly reports. The Branch manager is responsible for interviewing, hiring, supervising, training, and evaluating branch staff.
A Bachelor's degree and previous library work experience is preferred. An Associate's degree with five years work experience in libraries is required. Computer literacy, excellent management, organizational, and interpersonal skills are a must. The Branch Manager must be able to deal effectively with the public, city officials, and other employees.
