FIND NON FICTION CREATIVE BOOKS!The Dewey Decimal Classification 700-799 contains 'The Arts'; those that create art of all kinds, how to create it, what it looks like, where you find it, and even whether it is inside or outside. It's fun just to look through the books on these shelves to see what can be called ART! You'll find music, dance, painting, photography, games, even football! Below is a list of just a few things you will find in the 700's. Other Dewey Decimal Classification numbers to look at to "BE CREATIVE" are the 600's, where you'll find inventing, gardening, cooking, sewing, knitting, crocheting, building, and much more! Writings and how to write can be found in the 800's, whether it's school papers, stories, speeches, poems, or even jokes! Ask Library staff to help you find CREATIVE books that interest you.
